There have been quite a few scams going on recently on ebay. I tried to buy a generic tea urn recently for £12.99, it didn't arrive, ebay informed me that the seller had not confirmed his email address, so was unable to claim the payment from paypal and obviously didn't send the urn.

This one looks suspicious to me, the price looks like it has been converted from another currency. The ad claims 73 sold, but the seller only has 8 trades. I could be completely wrong, but I doubt you will receive it.

According to his listing below he has sold 75 yet he only has 8 feedback comments all from sellers not from the people who bought the boilers, i smell a very large and very smelly rat.

I agree with Chippy. This has all the hallmarks of a hacked ebay account.

Yep - she was a scam. Paid thru PayPal, got notification thru eBay that it was suspect on the night of ordering cancelled payment and got my money back.

Thought it was worth a punt as my boiler element failed last weekend!
