Trying this for the first time. It needs another week conditioning, but I'm impatient! It's an apricot wheat beer. 10 litre batch: Pilsner malt and wheat malt in the grist, nugget hops for 60 mins, wb06 yeast, added about 1kg of tinned apricots for the last 5 days of fermentation.
It's turned out really well. Hazy, well carbonated with big white head. Bubble gym and banana aromas. The aromas carry on into the flavours, with a little sharpness from the apricots.

Landlord.
For a while now I've been stirring the hot break back in rather than removing it pre-boil. Then chilling with immersion chiller and proper conditioning. Have had a decent head on every beer since

That is the drink that I had last night, my Mr Beer Northwest Pale Ale. Ithe has been in the bottle now for just over two months and last night was the first time I enjoyed the drink. The head was nice, the taste was good and very smooth going down. Still a bit dark, but not a million miles away from the mainstream ales you get. So many times these days I am finding myself saying that the longer I can give a beer either in the FV or the bottle, the better it turns out.

My clearest beer yet and I am really pleased with it. If you'd told me a year ago I'd be brewing beer like this I would have laughed at you.
