Here goes, I am trying to get back into mass brewing, the reason I say back into mass brewing is because in the past I've stuck to the rules and got bored.

Ive had a peanut butter stout in the past and want to recreate it at home, please feel free to give me tips or pointers in the right direction and even correct me in my recipe.

.I will be using a big standard Wilko black velvet stout kit as I have had success in the past
.1kg brewing sugar
.1 tin of golden syrup
.1jar of smooth peanut butter

Is their anything to improve on from what you can see?

Thanks, Grahame.

There will be a lot of fat/oil in a jar of peanut butter which will affect head retention, mouthfeel etc

Have a look on Amazon or Holland and Barrett for PB2 powder, it’s more like what you need.

I'll have a look, failing that it's going to be cocoa powder

Does cocoa powder taste like peanut butter? Or are you changing your mind? I like the sound of a peanut butter stout though...
Wilco stout kit...by big do you mean a two can kit?

I think it's cacao powder best suited for beer fella
Less fat and doesn't affect head retention (as much anyway)
Aldi sell it along with nibs but I would go with two packs of the powder and one pack of nibs cold steeped in vodka for a day or two

It was meant to say bog not big haha, and yes I was going to change my mind, I'm very undecided at the minute

I tried H&B was over 9 quid in there for a smaller one than I got in Sainsburys for £4. They're pretty good for some things and crazy on others.

I agree, I crushed my foot 18months ago at work and they were asking stupid prices for bone and joint treatment etc. I shopped around and saved a fortune
