Good luck to you, I wish I was local I'd love to pop in for a few. Let's hope you get a bit of local support.

Those glass shelves don't look too safe...
Have you got a leak...floor wet in last pic..?
You need that sign and maybe some window graphics..tell those passing cars what you're all about. We have a retail premises...we've done it all over the years... local paper, yellow pages even leaflet drop through doors in the local catchment area...

Those are just plastic shelves in the fridge, may loose a few bottles if one breaks but if feels OK. The floor is wet as it was recently moped. Someone is working on the sign and possible window graphics. Not sure about advertising as I am already having staff problems so want a quiet few weeks to get to grips with everything.
Cheers for the comments.

Thanks for all the comments 1st day went well. Good few glitches a cask of Larkins pale opened quite explosively and was foaming out the top for hours, a cask of Nelsons brewery's Revenge will only pour 1/4 a pint every 5 mins (I am guessing its dry hopped in the cask and there blocking it) card machine didn't work but worked out it was a blu tooth setting, according to the till we sold a half of a beer we have not opened yet and the till was £2.63 up even though everything has a price ending 0 or 5. If the till tallied we took £176.75 61% cask beer 22.6% cider 8% wine 3.6% spirits 2.2% bottled beer 2% soft drinks.

This Saturday wil be £2.50 a pint on cask beer and from there will be open 12:00-23:00 mon-Sat and 14:00-22:00 Sunday for a few weeks to decide on going opening times.

As it happens I might not be a million miles away from Edenbridge on Saturday - I'll try to pop in for a pint if I can.
:smallcheers:

Well I was & I did - had a good black pale ale & a cracking session IPA at Secret Cask this afternoon.
I'd forgotten how nice Edenbridge is and it was great to meet a fellow forumite and chat beer for a while. athumb..

Simon's beer offering was pleasingly more adventurous than most of my local micro-pubs which tend to stick more to traditional ales. I could have happily worked my way through the blackboard & I'd heartily recommend you all pay a visit if you're in the area.

Well done Simon - you've done a great job and I'm sure it'll be a success. :hat:
Can't wait to hear how the brewery develops.
:smallcheers:

Cheers Dan good to meet you to, will keep you and everyone else updated on the brewery but won't be thinking about it for about a month-ish.
