I have about 7 Christmas porters left from the 60 bottles I ordered last time. I'm saving them until.... Christmas.
One box had a carillon Lambic, it was lovely! It's a very good deal if you have a wide ranging taste.
 
Thanks for the heads up, just bought a couple. There's something inherently suspicious about bogof mystery boxes though :laugh8: It'll be interesting to see what comes through...

Ouch! I don't think I had a duff bottle out of all of them really? The thing to keep in mind perhaps is firstly my papalte may not be up to much! :-) but secondly you have to remember you're paying a pound a bottle. The Cantillon Lambic I had in the last lot retails at £9 in a lot of places in the UK, It was gorgeous for a £1.

My last 4 boxes involved a lot of Christmas ales and Blue Point Toasted Lager. Luckilly, I'm OK with Christmas ales, and I quite liked the toasted lager, so a quid a bottle was a bargain.

Haha yeah, you can only go so far wrong for a pound a bottle, I'll post up what I get when they arrive to give a sense of what might be in them athumb..
 
Probably worth trying again tomorrow, but maybe they have sold them all now?
 
Only 1 box arrived. They are sending the others out tomorrow.

Well worth a pound a pop, got some great fourpure and magic rock beers.
