SWMBO often tells people that I am losing my memory and on the principle of "Throw enough mud and some will stick." most of our friends, relatives and neighbours believe her!

However, I think that a conversation we had today sums up what is really happening in this house. We were discussing a neighbour's recent memory problems and the conversation went as follows:

SWMBO
"She's definitely losing it. Today in the car she was telling me a story that she had told me only a couple of days ago."

ME
"She did that to me a few days ago. What was she repeating this time?"
SWMBO
"I can't remember."
There was a pause, but one look at my face and we both fell about laughing - nervously! :laugh8:

Maybe in our home "The blind leading the blind!" is an appropriate analogy! athumb..

I often cannot remember what I had for tea last night but can remember things from years ago like it was yesterday. asad1

Memory is interesting. A few days ago I was navigating through Heraklion (cretan city, lots of small alleys and full of greek drivers) and I suddenly realised I had no idea how we got there in the first place. Half an hour I possibly didn't bother to store in memory. Very weird!

I have a watch that keeps me informed of some elementary things!

Buy an Echo, she has a nice handy function where she'll tell you the time, date, what appointments you have.... lol

I got a Mrs...

So have I, but the echoes (echo dots) don't take the pee like she does.... Oh, and actually remember appointments etc. Lol The fact that I can use them to listen to music is just an added bonus.... :laugh8:
