Had a great result with masses of ‘cones’ on my chinook hop plant this year - getting ready to harvest. So planning my first ‘green’ brew. Has anyone had any luck drying or freezing hops at home- any suggestions welcome .

I had a good year on my second year Chinook. Chucked em in the freezer after compacting them. Seems sensible, we'll see how they turn out...
 
Yes, I had a good crop last year from my Fuggle and Progress hop plants. I made some trays to dry them in, just timber with a mesh to allow air movement. I dry them in my garage for about 5 days. I have had an even better year this year and need to make more trays. Once dry, I vacuum seal them and freeze. I am still using last years crop and they seem ok.
