Went to get my stout and found one more hiding at the bottom of the beer52 box - really great stout.

An ale (one of my first brews from last year) retrieved from late Uncles house.
I’d given him a few and this was a single bottle left.
Bloody lovely !
Bit flat - but tastes good. Malty , yet bitter with a bit of orange cutting through.
Must look back at my recipes and re do this one . With a little more carb, this would be a great Xmas brew.

Brewdog Electric India, which is frankly rather disappointing. It's a bit of a stretch to call this a saison, the yeasty flavours are very muted and clean, and the hop flavours are rather generic and boring.

I am picking Mrs Tea up shortly only then will i find out what I am drinking tonight, she usually gets me a cracking selection of beers.

I think there is a cracking selection of beers to be found somewhere around here?

Just joking.

Last night I got one of the ciders down from the shelf. These I made some months ago from 100% apple juice and cider yeast. All looked good and I was hoping for great things. However, it was not to be. Little fizz and dry, so dry. Not my taste at all. With our move back to the UK that is all I have left after the Mr Beer Churchill's Nut Brown had gone. Nothing to sweeten it with so it went down the drain.

Pint of Citra down the local; better on pump than in the bottle but not totally bowled over. Returned home for a couple of pints of my Kentucky Common, which shows promise but is still a bit young. I'll leave it alone now till next weekend.

Lucky enough to drop into my local Morrison’s on my way home and they had some teku glasses in stock. At £1 each!!

Picked up a few and a few beers to boot. What a result for a grey Monday.

Did side by sides cheaps IPAs: St. Austell's Proper Job, the Sainsbury's American Style and Morrison's The Best IPA.

The Proper Job was more malty and just beat the Sainsbury's because it had a slight harsh tail end - then we had a load of gin and I can't even remember the Morrison's.vv

Having a first go on some Cwtch - blummin heck it's hoppy!
Real or kit? And are the hops nice. I tried a few beers recently where my friends said they were too hoppy and I wondered if the hop space-race would maybe burst.

It was the kit with some pellet packs in the box.

It's mellowed a little but not much.
