Hi started my ferment last Tuesday and airlock started approximately Thursday, still bubbling away, instructions a bit vague suggest moving at 1010, as yet I haven’t opened fermenter and was planning taking a reading when airlock stopped or slowed down to virtually nothing, I then planned to rack it off , am I wrong in any part , advice please

Thanks I was planning to but first timer and getting curious, should I wait till bubbles virtually stop, and then take reading for a few days before racking, not wanting rush it.

Thanks, pretty busy with work this week, does leaving a day or two matter , may have to move fermenter before racking, would I let it settle for a few hours before draining fermenter

The longer you leave it the dryer it'll get but two days isn't going to make much difference.

Finished and bottled 11 November, slightly chemical taste, two weeks later a bit cleaner but if anything slightly sweet? , so on Boxing Day tried a bottle with my dinner and found it quite light and fruity and very un Rioja like , drinkable but underwhelming, so it’s been bottled 6 weeks at this stage, can I expect much improvement?

Tempranillo probably describes it well as per post , not really getting any oak which I expected maybe in time, thanks Chippy Tea

Used marbles to reduce headspace during aging and then read about lead in marbles, any advice as I planned to age for three months. Remove to bottles ? Or bag in a box which I bought recently
