Hi everyone

I'm new to brewing. I live in central Brighton and am excited to meet anyone around the area thats keen to talk beer/brewing.

I've just bought a Robobrew v3 after much deliberation over the Grainfather. I figured saving the £300 at this stage was worth it.

I've added my first recipe to this thread if anyone wants to look/comment/make suggestions.

Welcome. Let us know how your adventures with the robobrew turn out. I was teetering on the edge of buying an all-in-one system earlier this year and backed out. Robobrew looks pretty versatile.
 
I just pulled the trigger on one this morning, arriving tomorrow.
Lovely as the Grainfather and others are, I can't justify the cost as money is needed elsewhere, but after viewing a ,oot of videos of people using the Robobrew I think it will do the job nicely.

Well I ordered it yesterday morning at 10am and it turned up ar 10.30am this morning. Cracking delivery for starters!
 
First impressions are very good, although one has to be aware that lifting a full 5kg grain bill when wet means a fair effort and where the Robobrew is located makes a difference! Mine was off the ground enough to drain straight into a fermenter, and I had to stand on a sturdy chair to do it properly!
One thing, using recirculation really helps with cooling! Notably quicker!
