Tried the American IPA & the Tequila & Lime Lager tonight. Well for me the AIPA is great, good head and strong IPA taste. I am not a Lager drinker but its ok if you like Lager & Lime or a shandy great for the summer but not so great for the Winter, however both brews were VERY clear. I will have to give the Lager to my Daughter!!

this is the tequila and lime a bit to lime forward for me but a nice refreshing beer for the summer months

I did my first beer about two months ago with a B&M kit. I was really impressed as were those I tested it on. I think B&M are stopping selling brew stuff because everything seems to be reduced.

I have just tried a 40 pint kit from Wilco and although it is nice, it is not quite as good as the B&M one. Then again it is only my second attempt at beer, so what do I know.

Ok, I bring news.
I am told in good faith that the beer kits that were on sale for Fathers Day in B&M stores will be moving to The Range stores next month for Christmas Gifts.....

That may mean the IPA kit will be back. Keep your eyes open and we will see if it is true...

Bet they won't be £5.99

Latest update on the IPA. It's lost the initial hop hit on the nose, there is a sight hop aroma, but the taste is superb. I normally do the Simply IPA kit's, but these knock em for 6. Shame there doesnt seem to be anymore available :(

Range already sell mangrove kits that read like double size b&m kits at £16 but without brewers sugar.

Yes, they have for a long while but as has been mentioned on other threads the 40 pint IPA kit tastes nothing like the kit that was sold at B&M. The ingredients are different.

They are all produced by Make Your Own Drinks I believe. They may be the same as who have just become a site sponsor, asking for a survey to be completed.

Unless I'm completely losing the plot, which is possible. They sell an India pale ale kit which is on their website but in-store they also have an American IPA which I'd imagine is the same as b&m kit. Same abv, weight (as 2 x b&m) and hop varieties!
I'm only convinced cause I spent a couple of hours a week or so ago looking for beer kits in range, wilkos and b&m. Ended up going for admirals reserve from wilko for £17.

Oh ok, must be there early then.
Not sure why it is a 40 pint kit as the ones I am told will be going into Range Stores are the self same as at B&M for father's day. Maybe the manufacturer is confused.

As said i have seen the IPA kit in the Range, the 40 pint one and it isn't the same hop variety as the B&M kit unfortunately.

This is the only one stocked in my local and only one shown online atm.

I have just bottled the Admirals Reserve, It tastes and smells great. I would say it is almost 50% clear at bottling with a finished ABV of 5.51. Now back in the heated brew cupboard for a week, can not wait to try it in a couple of weeks!

I tried to send "Make Your Own Drinks" this morning but the website came up with an error! I wanted to know who else sells the half batch kit of the AIPA as it is a fantastic brew.

No-one sells the half batch at this time. The next place will be the Range, mid November as I said in the above posts. Was told that by a MYOD employee when I contacted them.
