Hi, I am going to the Harris shop in Gornal at the weekend and as I have not made a red wine before can anyone give me their opinion on which kits are decent.
I like a merlot or cabernet type, I want a 5 gall kit. The first one I have done is a Solomon Grundy Rose basic one, are their more expensive kits worth the extra, thanks.

i posted some ramblings not long back about about red wine kits, and spending £30 vs £40 vs £46 vs £60 vs £80 on the kit, and my findings. Have a look, if you click on my name it should list the **** I've posted recently I think?

p.s Beaverdale is nice, but Kenridge Classic is amazeballs without spending
