For years and years I have avoided Smith's like the plague.
Insipid over cold dishwater served from places like wetherspoons and other such drudgery....
But last night I went with a mate to bilton working men's club for a pint and that's all they had.

Well blow me down, it was incredible!
Really smooth, buttery smooth with a gentle and subtle toffee caramel flavour. Really tasty and well rounded flavour.
It went down an absolute treat and has shown me again how a good landlord can make a much maligned beer in to an incredible pint.
