First beer of the night De Ranke XX Bitter http://www.deranke.be/en/bier/xx-bitter

"XX-bitter is our most bitter, high-fermenting beer. Despite its low alcohol content, it produces a very rich, long lasting, full flavour.
  • Straw Blonde
  • 6% vol. alc.
  • Brewers Gold & Hallertau Mittelfrüh
  • 10 EBC
  • 60 tot 65 IBU
  • 33 cl, 75 cl et 20 l (keg)
  • Continuously available
Taste: Very bitter but still balanced. Long-lasting, distinct hop taste."

Full marks for giving all the stats. It tastes more like a highly-hopped blanche to me. Certainly very pleasant, although more suited to a summer's evening. And 6% is not my idea of low alcohol, despite living in Belgium for so many years.

The next beer is another Diôle, this time Amber.
XX is one of my favorite Belgians I was lucky enough to have it on cask a few weeks ago at salford beer fest bloody brilliant.

I went a bit mad Xmas day and boxing Day...got smashed and was settee flattening by 8 pm.
I'm out with the lads from work tomorrow so taking it easy tonight.
I've just sampled my latest batch of dry stout. Yes,nothing to be ashamed of there.

I'm in two minds...Mrs will do the taxi for me there and back but it always ends up a disgrace...can't talk properly, can't see my phone...falling in the bushes when we get home....kebabs...

Drinking this tonight, gouden carolus indulgence 2016 it's a blend of cuvee van de Keizer and 2 and 3 year old lambic from boon, it's definitely one for @dad_of_jon it's only slightly sour but 9.8%

Last night out on the town was a bit average... Guinness X 3, a couple of pints of punk IPA and a couple of (I think) Tokina pale from Joules which was ok.
Tonight out for tea with friends to a pub with some good ales...
Last night joules ale .. Lakota.

Arek,

Do you have printed bottle tops?
Do you do them yourself?

Beers look fantastic by the way.

I sampled a few different ones last night with an old friend. Started on a Triple Hopped IPA, moved on to a wheat beer that I added raspberries to and then finished on a chocolate stout. All kits from Wilkos but were that good he's now starting to home brew. As much as I love the kits I'm moving onto a mini Mash for my next brew with the plan of being all grain by the summer.

Hi Aaron,

Check this link:
https://www.piwo.org/forums/topic/2...ść-odklejania-starych-etykiet-przez-rozlewem/
It's all in Polish but all you need to do is download excel file and type the details of your beer in the big table on the right side. Print on adhesive paper and cut.
Im using those:
- paper

- 1 inch paper punch

Arek, I cannot download the spreadsheet, probably because I am not registered. However it should be fairly simple to make my own - what a good idea.
