Hi,
Looking for recommendations for a good reliable online home brew shop.
Thanks in advance

The answer is ...

"Whichever company that has what you want, at the cheapest price and within the time available."

I order on line from any company that has what I wish to buy.

Almost all of them charge a fee for "Delivery" and almost all of them provide "Free Delivery" if you purchase a certain amount of gear. Then there are those companies that have a local "collection service" such as ...
  • Argos (provider of Sodastream CO2 cylinders amongst other things such as heaters) and
  • Wilco (provider of Brewing Kits, DME, yeast, hydrometers etc etc etc)
In short, there are literally thousands of options so just search on Google for whatever it is you wish to buy and then compare the prices (including delivery). Enjoy!

I mostly use The Homebrew Company.

They are based in ROI and delivery takes a day longer than shipping from within the UK, but they do give good prices for stuff, usually the cheapest as far as I can see, and they have a big range on offer. There is a Forum discount of 5%, but you have to spend £70 to get free P&P.
And for hops and some yeasts I use CML like many others on here it seems, and they offer a Forum discount of 10%

+1 for the homebrew shop. Replaced a pump that failed without quibble. Attended a brewing course there a while ago, and pop in when I go to see family nearby. They are a good bunch.

+1 also for homebrew company. Best prices and great range

@Dutto has hit the nail on the head.

I have used Home Brew Online a lot because I found them extremely friendly and helpful when I've phoned up looking for advice. They're more than happy to advise on things such as what fittings to use on pipe work to what beer lines to use in a kegerator!

Malt Miller are a very professional and competitively priced supplier of grains.

Crossmyloof are hands down the most hilarious bunch of guys you've ever dealt with. Funny, friendly and very competitively priced with their vast selection of hops.

I'me with Terry on both of those HBCompany and CML for hops and yeast especially smaller amounts as postage is included

^^ good experiences with all of them, as well as https://www.geterbrewed.com/
Geterbrewed, MaltMiller and the homebrewshop have always responded quickly to any problems with an order and put them right straight away, and I've never had any problems with thehomebrewcompany, crossmyloof or brewuk so, as Dutto says, just find the one that has what you want and can get it delivered for the best price.

I have been using BrewUK which I first went to because they had the full range of ingredients I wanted (I always buy a 25Kg sack of pale malt plus everything I need for the planned brews I'm going to do with it - avoids multiple delivery charges) but have now switched to the Homebrew Company - the last order I did was half of what BrewUK usually costs me and delivery was as quick too.
