Ok how does this sound
1.8kg feeling hoppy kit tin
1.7kg light liquid extract
500g light dried extract
100g wai-iti hops dry hop
 
I would condier putting some of the 100g into a hop tea but I don't know what the kit is like as is.
 
Looking at reviews of the feeling hoppy it seems to lack somewhat in hop so was gonna use the full 100g 5 days before kegging
 
Let us know how it turns out,are you using hop pellets or dried leaf? Is there a difference in strength of taste leaf v pellets?
 
Dried leaf I believe, first time as i always use pellets so will be a good experiment , love the hop tho so the more the merrier
 
Just an update , my can of plain light liquid extract hasn't arrived so decided to to a toucan, got a 1.8kg ipa tin and wilko lightkeeper light ale tin and will Chuck them both in with the wai-iti hops as dry hop still.

That will work fine, I'm sure.
 
Day 8 and currently about 1020 was expecting it to be lower by now but it's not , will give it a few more days see if it drops then I'll panic
 
I made the feeling hoppy and dry hopped it - it was pretty good but quite slow to ferment out. Took nearly two weeks at 21 degrees.

What was your SG and fg brewsmith reckons it should finish 1012 but reading other people they say toucan rarely drop below 1018
 
Ok down to 1016 but obviously quite bitter , only managed about 70g of hops as they leaf and didn't fit in my hop tube so may just chuck rest of leaf in directly to fv and attempt to strain visiting transfer to keg.
