Never home brewed before, achieved this today, now sitting back and waiting...... for the first brew of Woodefordes Wherry.

In my view the Wherry kit produces a beer that is better for keeping for a few weeks after packaging. I would give it at least a month before you get stuck in but no doubt your curiosity will take over before then wink...

Yes, totally agree. Kit Wherry is a decent beer 3 months from pitching and will improve for a further few weeks. Of course, few will last that length of time!

Thank you for the helpful advice, I will at least try to be patient enough for the good of the beer, although an occasional trial is surely ok - just for comparison of course!
