If you read back through the the thread, I emailed MYOD in November and they gave me the answer where they would be on sale.

Yes, the manufacturers said that supplying B&M was a one off for Father's Day 2018.

They also said the Aipa kits would be in the Range between November/December 2018, which they are.

Unless MYOD are going to supply B&M again, which they said they were not planning to, then i guess B&M will not be stocked in 2019......

You may get a reply by mailing MYOD to find out their 2019 Uk sales strategies / targets if you are that interested.

Sorry, the above post wasn't meant to sound rude or as aggressive as it sounds to me.

What i am trying to get across in my own way is, maybe try MYOD (part of Mangrove Jack's i believe) to see what they have got planned this year.

This is what I was emailed today after completing the survey a few weeks ago!

I got the same, they are collecting quotes for a web site relaunch - (note the careful wording)

Good morning,

You recently took part in a survey about Make Your Own Drinks, and answered the following to one of the questions:

“I bought the MYO bitter on impulse and it is the best of its type I've made.”

I’m getting in touch to ask for your permission to use this quote alongside your name on our new website when it launches later this year. As a thank you I’d be happy to send you a MYO kit (23L) of your choice.

If you are happy for me to do so, please reply directly to this email stating the following:

  • “Yes” I’d be happy for MYO to use my quote
  • Your name to display alongside the quote
  • Which MYO 23L Kit you’d like us to post to you
  • Postage address
  • Anything else you’d be happy for us to quote

If you’d prefer for us not to use your quote, please ignore this email.

Many thanks,

I can't now recall where the quote request came from, maybe following an online order.

Nice to see they may be introducing AIPA though :-)

I was sharing the email more in regards to where the American IPA was supposed to be stocked! I know its been a hot topic over the last few months. Ive not seen it in any range store I've been to, the only seem to stock the wine cider and 23l pouches!

I was in my local B&M yesterday and noticed they had the starter kits (FV, syphon etc.) and the swing top bottles both at £5.99. Relieved them of a box of bottles, 50p per bottle can't be too bad.

Finally got round to brewing the Tequila lime Lager kit, just bottled it,In the end I left the sweetener out as it tasted fine.2 and half weeks in FV and really clear into the bottles.Think these will be great on a sunny afternoon.

Finished the last couple of bottles of mine last week. My Daughter loves it, she says it really gets better after a few months! I'm not a Lager drinker so don't know.

MYO, B&M what is it with abbreviations, are all home brewers joining the kids of today. Please could someone explain what they mean. Frustrated brewer.

Have a look at this - https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/forum-abbreviations.80863/

I emailed B&M before Christmas to see if or when they intend getting the MYO kits back in but I am still waiting a response.

B&M is a store and MYO is a range of home brew sold by the Range stores -
