WOW! I wish I could make a (decent) tyre last that long on my bike.
I ride all year round , Pirelli Super Corsas in the summer, and Diablo Stradas in the cooler months...

So you wear them out? I had to Google those. Sport bike tires, yeah? That's a different style of riding than the cruiser I use. Is that why you go through tires more often?
I love my tires. I get the exact same ones every time. I don't remember what the name is but I did a lot of checking the first time.

I don't much in the way of long trips. The longest is usually an hour there and an hour back. I do all the errands I can in the nice weather but it doesn't amount to a ton of mileage. I check the tire pressure a lot, obviously, and a visual on the tires. It's right around two that they're showing their age even when the tread is still acceptable.

@VW911 I'm gonna have to check my car's tires to see if we do that also. It's a great idea. Maybe we've been doing it all along. What's the "WW" stand for? thanks.

Week/Week. So something marked as eg. 15/17, would have been manufactured in the 15th week of 2017...
As for my tyres, soft, sticky and grippy for the summer, and slightly more forgiving for the winter months!!
