Evening all,
Just started brewing after being bought a Northern Brewer starter kit for Xmas. The last 2 bottles of Irish Red that I brewed are close to being polished off as they much better than expected.
My second brew was a Youngs NW Saison which I've racked and tried now, it's about 10 days since I bottled. It's tasting good, very strong peppery to begin with and then mellows. Keeps it head to the end and is well carbonated.
Still cloudy but doesn't seem to matter too much. See attached pic.
Looking forward to my next, an AG US IPA.
Cheers
Dan

Welcome to the slippery slope, Dan. It won't be long now until your kitchen's fitted out for brewing, your lavvy's a grain store and your fridge is full of hops and yeast cultures. Happy days.
