Hi folks,

I was just wondering what everyone else does in terms of sanitising their equipment on brewdays?

I myself have a non-rinse powder, I chuck everything in my 5 gallon kettle and fill it with hot water, along with a tablespoon of the powder and give it a swish around, then leave it to soak for 5 minutes or so. Then I take it out and lay it on a clean tea towel before then using them later in the brew.

I'm conscious that sanitising and cleanliness is the most important part of brewing and was curious as to how everyone else does it? And maybe if you have advice if my method doesn't seem too great.

Cheers! acheers.
Ben.

I'm just polishing off a bottle of Milton that we used for babies bottles, wash with soap and water, rinse well, 2 caps of milton in 5l water in the bottle bucket, drop everything in it leave for 15 mins at least but sometimes overnight to save time in the morning.

I clean everything when I've finished, then just use a Videne no rinse solution to sanitise when I need to use it, mainly with a spray bottle
