It is time for a practical guide that looks at whirlpooling with the GF standard filter and also a false bottom.
Despite this being a short video there is enough information here to put anyone in a good secure place for whirlpooling with confidence with the right tools for the job. I demonstrate the whirlpooling technique with examples for both filters with a small batch volume and a regular 25L size. It should also more than prove that with the right technique there is no reason why you cannot whirlpool with the original filter or the false bottom.
I hope this addresses the subject well enough to avoid future problems for the community.
Naturally, this also applies to brewing systems that also have a false bottom.

You should also notice a change in this video compared to all my others that will hit you quickly!
Let me know your thoughts:)

As usual, thank you for all your kind support and enthusiasm for my channel.
Please keep your questions, feedback and requests coming but please give me some time to answer, I get a lot of messages and answer them in the order they were sent in, particularly those on Facebook messenger tend to stack up! If you are comfortable then please ask questions within Facebook groups or Youtube, so that others can also either benefit or contribute.
Happy brewing!

Lol.

Yeah I've had some real complaints about it!
Mostly about the lack of the song!
So for those miss it:-
It is a public domain tune by ”Dazie Mae” called ”Drink beer till the day that I die”. Feels a little sad to change it but I've had the same intro for years.

I've got it on a macro already!

The song could come back. The intro clearly needs to be shorter though. I have spent some hours looking for an intro for the 5 seconds.
I have narrowed it down to five and now need to polish each one, including a cut of the original.
Then I will make a short video featuring all 5 with a voting section.
Let the viewers decide.
