It is a nice idea except Kent is not very central. Even if it west Kent. Maybe make it a south east regional event instead of a national one. That is what we do on the woodsmokeuk forum, one national one a series of regional ones up and down the country.

Pick a date, work out pricing and facilities, open up invites and see who is interested. I am up for it assuming calendar matches. Pretty busy this spring summer up to mid September but there are some gaps. much like anyone else I guess. I would be in small tent

I'm happy to make it a South East meetup if that's the way it's gonna go. I think that there will be no location which 100% suits everyone. However something to consider is central location =/= easy access. The farm is on the Sevenoaks and Bromley border, nearest trains are Orpington and Chelsfield, both of which are ~25 mins from London Bridge, Waterloo East & Charing Cross, 30 mins from Victoria. London has great national rail connections.

Having said that, it is difficult to travel around the UK with petrol not being cheap, and rail tickets being expensive. Nonetheless, the option is there for a nationwide/southeast meetup. Also I'd be very happy to get involved if possible.

Yes. I think do a regional one and others can do their own regionals and if we can pull off national then somewhere like billing aquadrome is central enough for most. Therefore South East regional. Anyone can go of course. Do not have to live in Southeast of course. Friday evening to Sunday lunch? Turn up whenever? Do you want to organise date and venue.
