Call me triggered, but having the better half of the year no use of your attic because of some stupid heating thing touching some stupid plastic thing is ANOTHER thing that matters.
Keep it safe folks! Penny wise, pound foolish etc.
Pfft. I didn't get where I am today by making sure everything was unplugged before rummaging around with wires, or not bypassing safety cutout circuits with tin foil and melting fan heaters into a puddle of goo or not cleaning urns that are still plugged in in a bath of water or removing a thermal cut out valve from under 20 litres of 80c worr balanced on a chair with one hand...
No sir.
Praise be to modern circuit breakers

I have a fridge in a shed at the end of my garden with a Wilco heat pad, 7 watt, chucked in it both connected to an ink bird. My car is parked next to the shed so when I go to work and come home I can’t help but peer through the shed window to check the temp and it is always bang on what I have set the Inkbird too.

Ambient temp I don’t record but I sometimes have to take my sunglasses off to see through the shed window, sometimes have to wipe the rain off, sometime have to breath on the glass to defrost and occasionally have to p*ss on the lock of the car to open it.

Does this mean if I get one of these new fanged Bluetooth Inkbirds I don’t have to go to work?

THEIR circuit breakers were as old as the rest of their house: about 1 and a half year. I didn't know so much happened NEN-wise in those years.

True 'nuff. Burning the house down doesn't fall in the category of "effin' working".
