How long do you keep hops?

Just curious, I keep my hops in a freezer compartment of my yeast mini-fridge. How long do folks keep opened bags of hops for? I've got some Saaz which i realise was bought last July and opened in December, I'm not as worried about alpha acids but more about how much flavour/aroma they could have lost.

I keep my hops in a fridge @ 2c. I have a bag sealer and seal them each time they have been opened. I reckon my oldest hops are 7-8 months old... Never noticed any difference from new to older hops.

I re-seal the bags after opening but just keep them in a cupboard. When they're gone, they're gone, but I usually plan all the brews I'll be doing when I order a new sack of PM, bearing in mind what I have in stock.

Jeez, I've still got 2014 hops in my freezer - definately past their best. They do last for a good few years in the freezer but that's too long.

I keep mine in a freezer, and aim to use them within a year. This seems to work OK for my tastes.
