Hi m8, mine only has 1 in 1 out, but it does fine with splitters and valves on the python. Seen their big remote kit, but too much for me at the moment! It's the down time timer that makes it for me. (It's a *ugger to program though,,,,,,,:tinhat: )

Thank you Simon for that information, it is very helpful. I'd have many lines and kegs, a bar, optics, everything, haha, like a pub if I had the room and budget. :laugh8: I have seen a few larder fridges that could possibly hold 2 cornies. Not all have warranties though, so taking a gamble with the longevity of the fridge. I thought a chiller might take up less space and have better after sales service, unless I purchase a new fridge (although drilling for adding taps might void the warranty).
It will be in another room off my kitchen, do chillers create a lot of noise, are glycol chillers any better? Can you run either chiller at select times (i.e) not 24 hours a day to save energy etc as I wont be pulling beer all day, every day?
I don't think you can get any undercounter larder fridge that holds 2 cornies unless you can find the slimmer cornies (I have 1 and have no idea if there rare or not) but I could be wrong I just don't see how they could be much bigger than mine. A maxi style chiller will take up less space but since you can't put the kegs inside and it produces heat so can't be boxed in it could end up taking up more. Most of the noise on the maxis come from the fans and mine are all used so its worse, I think glycol ones are the same just have a pump more suited to glycol but could be wrong. If you are looking for a new maxi style chiller check out these guys https://www.mf-refrigeration.co.uk/

I was mainly looking at the taller larder fridges for the cornies, but I'd have to put it into the living room or somewhere. :?: I suppose I could look into using the smaller kegs and split the batch or bottle and keg some.

Hi Guys,

I’m back, I have the beer system working pretty well (thanks to all your advice). However, the pint loses its head very quickly. I’m currently using a nucleated Amstel glass.

The psi is currently set to 15. Is it a case of needing to be a higher or lower psi?

Many thanks,
Tom

Hi @Bex Brew, sorry missed this. Yes, one line. But, I needed a jacket system for the kegs. Experimented then bought one,,,, Been trying it with my old peltier mini-fridge. Now finished my trials and back adding the Dfx. I then plan to add a splitter and another keg in the cooling circuit. Sick of shifting 30l steel kegs into our fridge every day,,,,,
