Well done City, from a child of the 80’s who dislikes Liverpool!

Now on to supporting Spurs in the Champions League final.

(Edit I don’t actually mind who wins this, just looking forward to a good game!)

We all have strong views about our and other teams can I ask you we to keep postd civil, thanks.

The comment wasn't aimed at you PA I was logging off so thought as things can get heated I would ask members to try to keep things civil. :thumba:

It doesn't mater what league your team is in if you cannot afford to go to games or cannot go for another reason (medical etc) it doesn't make you a plastic fan especially if you have supported that team for many years, spent many pounds on their kit and they were not successful when you started to support them.
This. I’ve not been down to the Stadium of Light since my son was born (and he’ll be 4 this year). First off we had 2 under 2 and I couldn’t leave my wife for a whole Saturday (it’s a 4 hour each way trip so I’d be out of the house from 8AM to 10PM if you include having to stop for meals etc), then just as things were getting back to normal my uncle (who never married or had kids) died and my mum being his only family member had to travel up and down to Durham once a week for about 3 months to sort his affairs so my dad was too tired to go down with me on a Saturday. Then my parents moved house, then we moved house. That took us through to January this year - then I was sent to India for a week in mid February, it was my wife’s birthday in March and I had a stag do in April. We are probably ready to go to a match again now but the season has finished.

Hopefully we’ll be back to 2 games a season again next year and in a couple of year’s time hopefully my son will join us.
