Hi all

Just moved into my first house and have a nice little greenhouse in the garden, I was thinking about using it for my wine and cider. I have plastic fermenting buckets and barrel / PET bottles.

Would it be ok to ferment my cider/wine in the greenhouse or would this cause any issues ? Roof window and door would remain open depending on how hot the day is and the buckets have temperature stripes on them.

Just after some general advice really on the subject and once fermented and I’ve barrelled / bottled the cider id move to the garage for cool storage

I think it'll be too hot in there anyway. Our polytunnel often gets up into the 30s even with the doors open, and then again there's always the days you totally forget about opening the doors and it's way up in the high 40s.
