Ok so i've just bottled and mini kegged my 2nd brew.

I did the Coopers english beer, i did it with 500g of light spray malt and 300g of brewing sugar and also added 4 more grammes of yeast so 10 grammes in total. I left it 19 days to ferment @ a controlled 20c, upon bottling and kegging it smelled wonderful almost a treacle/dark syrupy smell.
I had a starting SG 1.054 and an FG of 1.011,so an ABV % of approx 5.64%, as ive just started drinking my 1st brew im hoping it will last till this is ready to be sampled.
Going to start a VIK Beer premium Lager at the weekend!

Looking for a lager similar to Oranjeboom to do next, anybody any ideas??

You may well have noticed that there are two types of 'beer' yeast. Ale yeasts are top fermenting and like temperatures around 20*C. Lager yeast is bottom fermenting and to get the right 'clean' taste should be fermented around 13*C ish, and will require more yeast loading at the lower temperatures or the fermentation may stall. If you don't have a fermentation fridge then brewing lagers at the low temperature anytime from March-October (depending on where you are) is not not really achievable. However there is a way round this since some yeasts can give a clean lager taste such as Nottingham/GV12/Wilko Ale yeast if brewed at about 16*C - as a 'pseudo lager ' - and Kolsch yeast. Note any kit advising to brew at 20*C and no lower is likely to have an ale yeast. Coopers Euro lager and the 86 Day Pilsner have lager yeasts but the 7g pack supplied may struggle at less than 14/15*C.
No idea what Orangeboom tastes like but if you are brewing kits at present there is a review section here

Oranjeboom is a lager of rather low standing in the Netherlands, a lager with pilsener and Saaz would be better, I guess.
