Picked up one of these in B&Q today for £8. Goodbye dough balls!

Ended up just horsing all the grain in and blitzing it. With the paddle, I would typically do four or five additions of grain with heavy stirring in-between.

Anything to shave time off a brew day at a small costathumb..

Great idea! On a related topic, are you using that drill for your grain mill too?

Yes the Dewalt serves the grain mill, mash stirring and work as well. It's a great toy!

Which drill you choose is horses for courses really, voltage and battery Ah capacity is the main thing if you're going to town (site work, etc). Brushless as well if you're going to be using a lot and often. But in reality; for home brewing purposes; a decent brand, brushed combi with a small battery is more than enough to munch through 15kg+ grain in one charge and keep you going for many years.
