As an all grain brewer I know very little about what’s good in kits.
A friend is just getting into kit brewing and following a successful razorback IPA brew he’s hoping to do a Dark beer.

Any recommendations for a good Dark beer kit?

Thanks
Mike

I ordered a Woodforde's Wherry kit online but accidentally scrolled my selection to Norfolk Nog. I went ahead anyway and it was amazing. It's an old ale. Very dark but not stout like. I will definitely brew this again. It was so good that I don't feel the need to visit any more pubs! But I do live in a remote part of Scotland.

The St Peter’s Cream Stout always seems very well reviewed and if you look at the review thread for that beer, someone has listed their version which adds spraymalt and coffee with great results. It will probably be my next brew.
