Careful there, that's how we got trump. He got an awful lot of anyone but Hillary votes.
I don't understand that about a lot of Americans who said "they are as bad as each other". On one hand you have a racist climate change denier who wants to censor the press and internet with the intelligence of a 5 year old, on the other you have a career politician who did a few email things.

He might be trying to do what he said he would, doesn't make him a good person as those things are bad.

I'm just grateful that in the next 5 years, I will be ditching this cluster **** of a country and be sunning it up in Switzerland. Not really sunning it up, but I won't be here and that's a start.

Racist?

Censor the press, I think a lot of the press pans out lies and bias. They mislead the population.

5 year old, that sounds like lazy insults.

Lots of people believe climate change is just that; the world changes, it always has. Sure, it is being accelerated but climate change is a very wide description, no all of it bad.

I do not think Trump denies it completely, of course he is trying to protect America first and the steel industry in the US is full of voters that now have a a very depressed industry and the protectionism is a main stay of his policies. The EU does the same. Even in the UK money has been pumped into British Steel to no avail.

Change is a coming. Out of change there is opportunity.

Yes, he is all those things, and saying he has the intelligence of a 5 year old might be lazy, but it's true. He gets angry when someone disagrees with him instead of using logical reasoning and debate, plus he made fun of a disabled reporter, what an adult thing to do. On top of that he doesn't seem to have any critical thought, hence believing climate change is fake.

Just because loads of people believe something doesn't make it true. Many people believe the earth is flat and vaccines cause autism, not true. The overwhelming evidence points to one thing but some people are keeping their heads in the sand for whatever reason.

Yes we the human race are contributing to the speed up in climate change but it is a natural cycle of the earth if you look back at it the thames was freezing over in the 19th century commonly known as "the mini ice age" sorry if this is off pist

Climate change - what a load of cack. Trump ought to be our next PM, he's right on that one and he wouldn't stand for all this trying to wriggle out of Brexit nonsense. Anyways, I like his style.

Whilst I agree that Trump wouldn't stand for all this Brexit nonsense I do sure hope you comment regarding climate change was sarcastic.

I would love to sit here and debate Trump and climate change but I fear veering too far off topic and I cba right now :laugh8:. Let's get back to serving our lord and master Potato.

I REALLY hope BoJo wins. Then I'm going to laugh like a drain when he cant deliver on any of his promises (to the Conservative membership ).
Out of the EU by 31st Oct, come hell or high water? Well the way I see it is he (and all the others promising this), are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Parliament have said they will do whatever it takes to stop a hard brexit, including calling a vote of no confidence in the G'vment causing a general election, which all the Tories say the definately dont want. So Bojo would have to get a deal. The EU have said the only deal available is the one May got, and that got voted down 3 times. So the only other option is to ask for another extension (or of course revoke A50 which would be political suicide).
Apart from the real politick of the situation, there's the logistics. We simply don't have the time to leave the EU by 31/10/19. Despite all those on Question Time shouting, "Lets just leave!". Leaving the EU isn't like leaving a gym. There's all the trade agreements, commitments, treaties and loads of other stuff I've never even heard of to sort out. Does anyone seriously think politicians WONT go on their six weeks summer hols so they can work on Brexit over the summer?
So yes Mr Johnson you may get your life long dream of becoming Prime Minister, but get ready for your punishment beating at the polls come the next election for not taking us out of the the EU
