Hi. Pretty new to this though I did give it a go about 30 years ago! Have just bottled my first batch. American IPA from a Young's kit. Got the fg spot on so here's hoping! I would welcome all advice from all you more seasoned veterans. Cheers. Sean.
 
Hi and welcome to the forum.You'll find there's a massive difference in kits now compared to when you last brewed and should certainly wet your appetite for brewing again.Good luck and don't be afraid to ask for help as we've all been there. ..
 
Hi Sean, welcome to the forum. Where about in Ireland are you? I briefly lived on the coast in Co. Mayo a couple years back. Lovely area and great water for brewing!
 
Hi Sean, welcome to the forum. Very helpful bunch on here. I was in an identical position to yourself when I joined 2 years ago. Having just returned to the hobby after trying the old Boots kits many years ago. The kits have moved on amazingly and they ability to get answers to any issues you have within hours on this forum make the whole brewing process much more enjoyable, and the resulting brews excellent.
