Hello everyone,

Brewed a few beers before and am trying my hand at turbo cider. I used apple and cranberry juice and it's got a lovely pinkish glow in the FV. Trouble is it's a little cloudy and I've never used finings before but maybe I should whack some in? I used ale yeast as I heard it leaves the cider more sweet whcih is what I'm after. In this case do i use beer finings or cider finings? I don't have any cider finings but I do have beer and wine finings from Wilko. Presumably I'd use the beer finings as they remove the beer yeast right? will this effect carbonation when I bottle?

Apologies for the noob questions

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

Finings are not designed to kill yeast so you should be fine, i never knew there was a specific finings for cider, as they say every day is a school day.
