So I'm going away on a golf weekend with my baby bro for his 30th. I am in need of 2 things.

1. Somewhere that sells mixed cases of stouts and porters. That isn't Beerwulf or Beerhawk as they're sold out.

2. Somewhere that sells beer in 330ml swing-top bottles and is reasonably priced. And we both detest Lager. Thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone as i want the bottles too.

Honest brew i would recommend. Just go online and makeup your own box from the stout/porter selection. New customers get £10 off and on orders over £50 you get free delivery.

I think your on to a loser on the swing top bottle front. They are so expensive its only grolsh that keep them because its part of their unique identity and branding.

I'll check it out thank you. The only swing-top I could find was Flensburger Gold at £2.29 a bottle.

Lidl Netherlands had an Italian week/month, with Italian IPA and double, the latter one (€2) in a fliptop brown .5L bottle. Check your local Lidl regularly for stuff like this (they have ales on offer again this week in the UK btw)

Thanks dude.

I just bought a crate of german lager in brown 0.5L swing tops from my-food-online.net. It's a German site. Beer is very cheap, delivery to the UK is quite steep. With delivery it worked out at £39.50 for a crate of 20, including delivery and the crate. Not too bad I thought, since similar German lager in swing tops is £2 a bottle in Aldi (when they have them in). So same price, but a free crate to store my lovely new swing tops, and delivery to my door. Fast delivery too.

They do 330ml bottles like Flensburger, if you wanted to go for 330ml instead of 500ml.
