Need help, how long will it take to brew 80 pints of lager?.
Lager, by definition, means "stored beer". If you want to brew something like Carling, you could probably do it in 4 weeks. But it's not lager. If it's an emergency, brew a wheat beer with Fermentis WB-06. With this warm weather, you can just about have it ready in three weeks. It's very forgiving. When it's ready to serve, chill it and offer a slice of lemon. Dead cool. Lager's for mothers.

Be a little specific! Which kit do you have in mind? And, why the mad rush? wink...
I have used the geordie lager kit, 2kits in one big blue container food grade with 2kg of sugar and 46 litres of water. There is no mad rush as long as its ready for my birthday party on the 19th August.

Brewing 80 pints will take twice as long as brewing 40 pints, UNLESS you have two fermentation vessels and two pressure barrels or enough bottles.

Once I get FG in the container I'm going to separate into bottles and a barrel anyway, then hopefully it should be ready. Thanks for the tips

You're going the wrong way about this IMHO. Why not invite the forum round with pockets-full of ale to help you celebrate this auspicious occasion.

You have 54 days to complete your brew so no need to rush. .............leave it in the fermentation vessel for 14 days, don't skimp as this seems to be the most important part. I have aTilt and you can see the SG dropping more and more slowly but sugars are still turning to alcohol and other magic happens.

To Clint et al, I said why it would take twice as long, did you read the bit after UNLESS?:cheers3:
