Thought this deserved a mention, running as micropub I taste alot of beers and this is my favourite so far. I was very surprised as the Canterbury Ales English IPA I had recently just demonstrated how you can over do English hops (it was right on the edge) while this is perfect. According to the brewery its a single hop target IPA. So if you see it anywhere I strongly recommend Three Legs Brewing Co's English IPA. And as I always thought target is the most under rated hop. I have to admit its not for every one a few regular customers don't like it much but I think its exceptional.

I've used target hops as flavour hops in some bitters/ales before and I agree it is a very under rated hop for English beers

The brewery is very good in general and if you are in neighbourhood, I highly recommend popping in, as they have brewery bar as well. Great guys , very friendly and great beers.

Never heard of it, but this is what they say:

ENGLISH IPA

A traditional style IPA with a caramel and orange like maltiness carried by an assertive bitterness from the Target hop.

I'll bet they use First Gold as well to get the orangey bit.
