I have harvested yeast (WY1318) from a Double IPA which came out at about 8.5%. Will it be ok to reuse it for a 6% NEIPA?

There is a theory that the yeast may be "tired" after all the hard work, but it does sound a bit strange to me!
So, I suggest just reusing it.

You might get away with it, but it's difficult to say. High gravity brews definitely can be stressful to yeast though, that's why the brewers at Rochefort don't reuse the yeast from the 10 (11.3% abv) but they do reuse it after the 6 and 8 (7.5% and 9.2%).

I recently brewed a porter at 9.4% and harvested that. Initial fermentation was extremely lively!! However, on bottling day I was getting a slightly sweet taste to my brew which did peter out eventually to give off a really nice beer. So yeah go do it! ;)
