Star San availability

Hi everyone,
I seem to struggling to buy Star San in the UK at the moment, anyone know where I can get some that's not an arm or leg!

There has been a previous thread about this issue, it appears to have suspended from import into the EU, pending compliance issues.

My bottle is running low, I am trying to conserve it as much as possible, but am considering resorting to Milton tablets as an alternative.

I bought a Milton substitute the other day Bambini 79p for one litre, say no rinse but I did anyway I brewed my pale ale in fv no nastie's now bottled, smelt like Milton and the powdered stuff from wilko's

Just looked up the prices of it on ebay, ouch! Not so bad on Amazon though

I think the milton one is chlorine based so you should rinse for home brew as it interferes with the yeast though its fine for baby's bottles etc.

It's still in stock at Geterbrewed for normal prices. Maybe Ireland suppliers are sourcing it elsewhere?

HBC do have a small bottle in stock, which will probably last a little while

Don't forget Videne at 1.5ml / L. No rinse and available to oider from most Chemists for <£20 for enough to last a couple of years.
