I have bought ingredients from Malt Miller to make the Boy Taylor. I didn't spend much time thinking about it as I just wanted to get a brew on one evening this week.

Anyone made this, what's it like, and should I pimp it up?

Presumably you mean the all-grain kit? I made this on 27th July at the Malt Miller during one of their brewdays. The fermentation has all but finished and the taste that I had when checking the specific gravity indicates to me that it's fine as it is. Malt Miller do a 'deluxe' version of the kit which has the same grain and hops but uses a liquid yeast rather than dried. If i try this again I would like to have a go with the liquid yeast and see how that goes. You will need some Irish moss. We also added a yeast nutrient to our brews.

Hope that helps. Enjoy your brew day/evening.

I've made this a couple of times now, turned out well and it's worth using the correct yeast if possible (wyeast 1469 or equivalent).

Latest batch I added a bit of medium crystal that needed using up, but it's a nice pint as-is :cheers3:
