I have some Mangrove NZ Pale Ale on the go, and turning my thoughts to what I can brew when that hits the bottles. Thinking about the time of year, it'll be winter before I'm enjoying it.
I'm very new to the kit market after some time away, so unsure what hits the top of the recommendations these days.
I like a nice fresh fruity/citrus summer IPA, but something with a little more spice and depth would be nice for the winter. I don't fancy a traditional ale or bitter - but another pale ale or IPA as the Mrs is more likely to drink it too. Is anything available that meet those needs ?
I'm brewing in a basic 23l FV and bottling into 500ml glass. Happy to dry hop to add some more character to a kit if needed.
I'm not into grain brewing (yet!).

(edit - title should have said 'pale ale or IPA' - not just Ale!)

Oh, that festival one looks great. I don't want too much sweetness, so the spiced/ginger angle sounds excellent.
I'm keen to order from brew2bottle to support their sponsorship here - and want to pick up one of their brewing heat mats too. Can't beat cheap postage ! :) I've pinged them an email and they're going to get back to me about stock.

(B2B need to update their website! The description says 32pints, the picture clearly shows 40! Also, I am sure they don't want you to pitch the yeast when the wort is 250C!)

Just a quick update on this for you guys... typo's are fixed

Also the Festival Spiced Winter Ale will be available again around the 15-16th October once this years production run finishes.

awesome - thanks. I picked up the MGJ's Wit Bier from the post office the afternoon and its already in the FV and tucked up in the garage! I'm still keen on the Festival Spiced - so mid oct will be good timing for me.
