Bought this to try it and added 1kg Demerara sugar and 454g of malt extract and fermented with Kveik Voss slurry and although there is a slightly fruity taste there is quite a tang of bitterness but this is only checking the Fg which is 1.009 down from 1.050 just over 4 days.
Dry hopped with their hops but added about 30g of cascade as well.Shall wait and see.
Currently at 30° but going to drop too 20° then step down to cold crash over the weekend.

I bought two of their IPA's for around £13.50 each X 40 pints. brewing it to the instructions. so far been on for 17 days and still going strong. I will have to leave it until next weekend as we are away for a few days so it should be about finished by then!

I’ve started doing AG BIAB. I’m two in now, an American Amber Ale and a Speckled Hen clone. Thing is, neither are ready yet so I don’t know what they have come out like. I didn’t want to do another only to find later I’ve been doing something wrong and messed loads up. So, just putting this kit on in the meantime :)

The Range are selling off all home brew kits ready for a re-brand so there may be some bargains out there.

Hi the kits are really handy that's for sure and time saving but I find that there's something more rewarding when you create your own from scratch to having a cracking pint at the end.

I was in the Range on Friday after work and saw their new range of branded wear but they still had a Bitter and copious amounts of cider kits of their old stock back up to full price.

The bitter kit comes with a small pack of Columbus hops to dry hop with. Do you think that’ll do or shall I chuck in some EKG I have in the freezer too? Not sure if they go well together or not.

I cannot find anything on their site can you remember what is new in the branding?
Had a nosy just now and it's actually a Premium lager kit as opposed to an IPA with a price of £14.99 for Lager and Stout though the cider is still priced at £19.99 as they still have a load of the old branded ones in stock.

Thanks, it looks like they have done away with the two part pouch which is a good thing, I wonder if the wine kits will still be made by Muntons as the old ones were.

I've no idea but maybe worth sending an email to muntons quoting how good quality there wine kits are and ask who they supply in the UK.

The make make your own marketing manager sponsored the forum for a while and posted some surveys I will have a look and see when he was last logged in.

It would be interesting to see what type of deal you could strike with these guys as an endorsement by a major forum on a product could do wonders for both.Just a thought.

Hi! Just to confirm we have been going through a rebrand over the last few months and it sounds as though The Range have begun to stock the new kits which is great! Also we manufacture all of our kits at our factory in Ellesmere Port. I'll message on the other forum to confirm the new range. Thanks, Sam
