Is anybody else here playing with Hop Aroma Oil?

It's not the CO2 extract with a lot of bitterness, but 'pure hop oils extracted by physical separation methods'.

I bought 3 to try from The Malt Miller, Cascade, Citra and Nelson Sauvin - https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/pure-hop-aroma-oil-cascade/

Firstly I gotta say it is far more than aroma, it really adds flavour just like dry hopping does.

I'm really looking forward to trying them in a brew, because I like strongly dry hopped beer which uses such a large quantity of whole hops and is the main cost component in my beer.

So far I'm having a great time just adding a drop of this oil to cheap Asda larger and it really does an amazing job of transforming it in to something far more complex and interesting. Yes the aroma is there, but the taste is totally transformed too.

Combined with bitterness from real boil hops and a smaller dose of real dry hops, I'm excited to see how it supplements the flavour and allows far tighter control of the end result.

Interesting.

How much to infuse a full keg do you think?

I have the fruit ones and they work really well.
