hello, ive been brewing kits now for a few years, and have made a few partial boil all grain kits.
my next step is building (as cheap as possible) a single vessel system.
i have a 50litre pot and a gas burner.
a brew bag for separating grain.
is there anything else that you strongly advise purchasing or making for a more complete Brew day!?

A good electronic thermometer if you dont have one. Having said that I use a spirit thermometer because I cant afford a good accurate electronic one. All the electronic ones in my budget range are cheap unreliable chinese/ebay ones

Agree with the good thermometer. I've gone more wrong with mashing too hot than anything.

I've also rigged up a simple pulley system to lift the bag (but you can manage without).
