Hi all iam a total novice and just starting out in home brewing.
I have just made a 25 litre batch of sugar wash using 6 kilos of sugar and alcotec 48 turbo yeast if I remember the starting gravity was 1.090? It fermented to 990.
I never used finings charcoal ect and just bottled it so I could use sodastream flavors and carbonate to make alcohol pops .
Iam worried however after reading that I have just made toxic methanol. Should I bin it I have no idea please help .

Thanks for the reply Led_zep it has put my mind at ease I'll let it clear then see lol .
I just set a summer fruits cider of with start gravity 1.60 .
I used 4.5 ltr apple juice
40 raspberry and strawberry teabags (brewd in a jug juice extracted bags binned)
150 g sugar
Youngs wine yeast super compound
Youngs yeast nutrient.
Smells amazing and lush colour cant wait for it to finish.

That's a better route to go.

One of my fav wines is made using Tesco imperfect berries, again low cost and easy to make.
