Anyone know where to get or how to make a gas management board.
Or is one necessary?

I guess whether it is necessary or not depends on what it's being built for and how many lines/regulators/splitters you will be running?

I don't have one and I have 4 kegs. If I want to serve a lower carbed beer I force carb lower than normal then turn the gas off. Give it a little squirt every now and then to maintain serving pressure.
I serve lagers and stouts and it works for me. I don't have room for a manifold in the fridge so i use JG splitters and have a JG tap on every line.

A "gas management board" is one of those "in" things that you can consider is essential, or else happily do without. Home brewers have always been a bit "adhoc" with their CO2 management, so I suppose these "management boards" do paper over lots of "technical detail" and give one the impression you are doing everything right. But to do everything right there is lots of farting about and tinkering.

So either stick to the adhoc approach and expand on it in time to be your most "excellent" setup. Or tie yourself in with a "gas management board".
