Hi all,
I am planning to do a 10l brew, Dunkelweizen from GH's book. I would like to end up with 20l in the FV at the end of the day.
I can't use my 23l boiler as the builders are in and it's too much hassle, but I can do it on the hob. I have 500g of DME, i've never added it before so have not sure how much to use or if I have enough. The recipe for 23l is
2.7kg wheat
2.3kg Munich
300kg Caramunich
300kg Special B
My plan was to mash in with 60% of the above grain and add in the DME at boil, pour in to the FV and top up with cold bottled water to save time chilling. Perhaps adding some sugar if needed. I know there are some recipe helper apps and things but my bleddy head hurts from revising for a course on Friday and i'm terrible working these things out. Any help would be much appreciated!
