Hi all, just looking into starting brewing my own wine, going to start with a red wine kit (Beaverdale Cabernet Sauvignon I think) & hopefully and take it from there, only thing I’m unsure of is timings, I work away from home on a fixed rotation, so it’s unlikely I’ll be able to start and finish the process in say 19 days, I will be away for 14days when the wine will be left totally unattended - Which stage would be best to leave the wine while I’m away ? I’m thinking do the primary fermentation then rack to a second FV and leave it until I’m home again ?
Would this negatively impact the wine being left unattended?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice

Welcome to the forum Kev.

I have never made a Beaverdale kit so am not sure of the time they estimate for it to e finished i have made several WineBuddy and Solomen Grundy kits and you could get them from start to bottle in 19 days.
