Hi, decided to buy 3 x 5L mini kegs and have used them today alongside 13 bottles for a 23L brew, what a difference to a bottling day these were, still able to use my little bottler to fill them and a doddle to clean/sanitise. If they carb easy and condition ok then I will be ordering more, i'll keep you informed.

I used one of them for a Pilsner, no problem with slightly higher carbonation (I think it was around 2.0 CO2 volume ) - didn't bulge or loose shape in any way. Since than I bough 2 more and used them for English Style IPA.
The only problem, if you don't use CO2 to replace Oxygen , you would need to drink whole 5L in a couple of days.
Let us know how those special taps worked for you.

No Probs, thanks, the kit I kegged was an American IPA and I used 12g of sugar to carb, I will pour using the C02 tap

Do you have EasyKegs (like the supermarket beer) or Mini Kegs? (All stainless steel with optional tap and regulator as sold by Dark Farm)
