Tonight's drop oatmeal stout, smooth with a slight molasses aftertaste, even though there is none in the recipe. My wife reckons the most used tool in the green house is the bottle opener.;)

Never touched the sides, looks like it will be another early night.

How did you manage to get that pint to float in air :laugh8:

Picked these 3 up from our local 'trose this afternoon. Selling them off £1.10 for the bottles and £1.60 a can. Well in date.

My latest APA...very nice, slight haze,Munich punching through....I'm trying to sip it but it's one of those you have to tip down your neck!!
I didn't try but it's along the lines of a milkshake IPA I tried a couple of months back...

That looks like a draught Bass to me, mate! Used to love it on a Saturday night back in Glossop. Made a sweet and less bitter change from the Boddingtons of the 1980's.
Used to LOVE the Biddies back in the '80s, proper bitter pale! Anyone remember the pub on the Cheetham Hill with the serving hatch at ground level??!!!

Friend of mine is gluten intolerant (special needs, we call him..!!) and he introduced me to Northern Monk, which not only is a very good GF beer, but also a bloody good beer full stop... Different in some ways, but I'd be happy to drink it all night (if need be..!!!)
